Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd and Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) are going to organize the online test for Junior Assistant (Accounts) in May 2021. The TNEB exam date notification is already out on the official web portal of TNEB at www.tangedco.gov.in respectively. The board will release the TNEB Junior Assistant Hall Ticket on its website atleast 15 days before the examination date.
Update: TNEB TANGEDCO has postponed the Junior Assistant Exam due to surging cases of COVID19. Fresh examination schedule will be released by the board later.
In January 2021, the TNEB recruitment for 500 Junior Assistant posts in TANGEDCO was released. The application registration process for these posts lasted up to 10/02/2020. The tentative schedule for the Computer-based exam for the post of Junior Assistant/Accounts has been published by the TN Electricity Board. For the same, the board will issue the TANGEDCO Junior Assistant Admit Card on its website in the due course.

For TNEB Junior Assistant Recruitment notified via Advt No. 03/2020, the dates of the computer-based test are announced officially. Online CBT Date is 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th May 2021. As per the officials, the computer-based test dates may be changed as per the board’s requirements.

TNEB JA Exam Scheme – TANGEDCO Junior Assistant Paper Pattern
The TNEB JA Exam shall comprise 100 multiple choice objective type questions based on various subjects. The time duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. There will be 3 parts in the paper. The level of the questions in the paper will be of Degree level considering the educational qualification for the recruitment. The paper shall be available in both English and Tamil language except the English section. The scheme of the exam will be as follows:

TNEB Junior Assistant Hall Ticket Details – Information
TANGEDCO Junior Assistant Admit Card will have details like the candidate’s name, date of birth, photograph, registration number and other details printed on it. Aspirants must check the date of birth and name spelling properly. Also, check your exam centre name and exam date and time on your respective TNEB JA Hall Ticket print. Candidates are required to bring a valid photo identity proof in original at the time of examination.
